This weekend, I didn’t have time to blog. This weekend, my life was too FULL to do much of anything – other than run from one activity to the next. This weekend, my life was FUll with FRIENDSHIP. Such a glorious thing, right? Let’s recap.
Friday
Dinner with the parents and my baby cousin, home from college
Saturday
The Ballard Baseball golf scramble, in memory of my Aunt Joanie
Gym time
Grocery shopping at my favorite store on earth – Trader Joe’s
Pumpkin carving with Matt and Anna, and some of their friends!
A bat, a headless horseman, two moons…and a Storm Trooper
Sunday
Singing with the high schoolers at church
Coffee with Ashwini, my high school friend
High school handbell and choir rehearsals
Dinner with Taylor, finally home from England!
All in all, it was a fun weekend. A long weekend? Yes. A tiring weekend? Yes. But a rewarding weekend? Absolutely.
Sometimes, you just have to let go of your quest for rest momentarily to live in the moment.
Did y’all do anything fun this weekend? Tell me, tell me!
