Happy Saturday folks! Today I’m linking up to SheShares, part of the wonderful #SheReadsTruth community that I have been blessed to join these last few months. Combining fellowship and study of the Word with modern technology? So genius!
And recently, I’ve taken that technology to an even bigger level. Besides the morning Instagram and Twitter checkins, I decided that I needed a little afternoon reminder as well.
So what did I do? I turned to the old iPhone of course! Because this girl is rarely separated from her iPhone. Sad but true – I’m a child of the technology generation after all!
Our church recently put together a list of four questions for Sunday School classes to answer at the beginning of every Sunday. One of them that I love is “Where did you see God today?” To give myself a little reminder, I set a phone alarm in my iCal to go off every afternoon at 4pm.
And one of the best parts is that my iCal goes off on my computer too, so I even see it on Wednesdays and Thursdays when I am at work! And some of those days, I really need that reminder to slow down and think. And be grateful.
Do you set aside time in your busy schedule to reflect and commune with your own higher power? For me, it is so necessary!

Love this idea!! I might do the same! Thanks Leah
Thanks Lindsay! Matt Walton’s fiancĂ© Anna is actually the one who gave me the idea
That’s awesome that technology can be integrated like this with religion. I’m not a very religious person, but I am moderately spiritual. Glad you’re finding ways to make it work for you.
Thank you! Being spiritual is important too
Love it!
Thanks Michelle!
I’m not religious, but I’m glad you are finding what works for you
Thanks Jamie!
Cool idea!! I’m loving technology + bible study too!
It really is such a great idea!
