Polo match

Good morning everyone – happy Sunday! Sorry I didn’t check in yesterday, I was too busy being productive. And then having fun.

What was on the agenda for Saturday you ask? Watching the Olympic men’s cycling. Pump class. 2-mile run. Lunch at Whole Foods. Purchasing paint for a little room renovation. Cleaning out said room. Showering.

Then off to the polo match! My friend Cullen works at Lenihan Sotheby’s, a realtor here in town. The past two summers they have helped put on a polo series. The matches are always fun, with hospitality tents filled with food and drinks. This time, the weather even cooperated! It wasn’t too sweltering, especially under the tent with the fans…and a cool beverage.

All in all it was a great night! Lots of friends were there, new and old, and we had a great time just chatting and catching up. I can’t wait until the next one in September!

Today I’m off to sing in the choir at church, and then back home for some more Olympics-watching and home-improvements. Dad is all set to paint my room, and my job is to help him move furniture/drop cloths/etc – I think my painting skills lack of skills would be more of a hindrance than a help! Happy Sunday.
