June wrap-up

Whew – this month has been a complete whirlwind! Three countries in three weeks, countless bus/plane/train/Tube rides, numerous good meals…and plenty of awesome adventures.

Yep, I’d say that I met – and even exceeded – my June goal! I could not have asked for a better trip, with better people. I am so thankful that I got to experience Europe with my parents for their first time, and with one of my best friends in her adopted home for the year. Seriously, the memories an pictures and adventures from the past few weeks will be with me always.

Did I accomplish every single thing on my to-do/must-see list? No. And that’s ok. Because for every too-long line at Wimbledon, there was a spontaneous celebrity sighting at the Tower of London. For every rained-out hike in Wales, there was a night spent learning about football from real fans. For every street closed for the Olympics, there was a stumbling upon Speaker’s Corner.

In short, I had a fantastic month. June of 2012 is up there for best, and most exciting, month yet. And we still have six more months of 2012 to go! Cannot wait to see what new adventures lie ahead…
